This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you subscribe to the TrackingJobs newsletter or browse this website. We process your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local data protection laws.
1. Who we are
TrackingJobs is an independent project operated by Trackingplan Inc., with registered office at 2093 Philadelphia Pike #1638, Claymont, Delaware 2093, United States, Tax Identification Number 38-4169295. Trackingplan Inc. is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website.
For anything related to this notice or to exercise your rights you can contact us at hello@trackingjobs.com or support@trackingplan.com.
2. What personal data we collect
- Your email address.
- The role(s) and country/countries you subscribe to.
- The IDs of the jobs we have already sent you (so we never email you the same offer twice).
- Whether you have given the optional separate consent to be contacted by Trackingplan for commercial purposes and to receive its monthly newsletter, and the timestamp of that consent.
We do not use tracking pixels in our emails, do not log open/click events with third parties beyond what our email provider records by default, and do not share your data with anyone unless you have explicitly consented to it (see section 5).
3. Purposes and legal basis (GDPR)
- Sending you the weekly digest with jobs that match your selected roles and countries — based on your explicit double-opt-in consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Operating, securing and improving the website and the service — based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) to keep the service available, prevent abuse and fix bugs.
- Optional: sharing your email with Trackingplanfor occasional commercial contact and to send you Trackingplan's monthly newsletter — based on your separate, explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to support@trackingplan.com. This consent is independent from your TrackingJobs subscription: you can be subscribed to the digest without it.
- Complying with legal obligations when applicable.
4. Data retention
We keep your subscription data for as long as your subscription is active. When you unsubscribe we delete your row and all associated preferences from our database within 24 hours. If you also opted in to Trackingplan's marketing list, that record follows Trackingplan's own retention policy and you can request its deletion at any time at support@trackingplan.com.
5. Recipients and sub-processors
Your data is not sold. We share it strictly with the providers we need in order to deliver the service, all of which act under data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and edge delivery.
- Supabase, Inc. — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Resend, Inc. — transactional and newsletter email delivery.
- TheirStack — source of the public job listings we curate.
- Trackingplan Inc. — only if you explicitly opt in to receive its monthly newsletter and commercial contact.
We may also disclose your data when required by law, legal process or a court order, or when necessary to protect our service.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request the erasure of your data.
- Restrict or object to its processing.
- Receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability).
- Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Supervisory Authority in your country of residence.
You can exercise these rights by emailing hello@trackingjobs.com or support@trackingplan.com and telling us which right you wish to exercise.
7. Changes to this Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to update this notice. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, we will inform subscribers by email or with a visible notice on the site. The most current version is always the one published here.
